    The The overture “Il nome della Rosa” was based on a very famous novel by Umberto Eco. It is imagination of a thick fog and gorgeous abbey as William and Adso was visiting, the beginning motive was played by Flute and Harp duo. The terrible incident be waiting for further, music be going to the heavy with multi homophonic. Then add the ‘Waltz of Rabid’, which was last part of 3rd Scene by Adso’s foreseeable dream.


    The end of Waltz going down, the main theme - choral was played by strings and return to the beginning theme with stable atmosphere.


    The main harmonic system was multi counterpoint and expended harmony with moderation.
