    Sinfornietta per archi is a work I ultimately applied an intense intro which I presented in the works Sinfonia de Requiem and Violin Concerto, and various arts of fugue that I tried in the Clarinet Quintet. The term ‘Sinfonietta,’ derived from an Italian word ‘sinfonia’ meaning a symphony, refers to a relatively small-sized symphony. I gave absoluteness to the work through the intense intro, a section in which lyrical and beautiful melodies conflict with each other, and complete use of fugue which is the absolute completion of musical form. In the latter section, movements of the fugue from introduction to a final coda especially bring massive explosion and an intense finale. I also, as I always did, tried to enhance the unity and transmissibility by varying the themes using various rhythm patterns based on waltz, chaconne, siciliano, etc.
